The application round starts today at 11:00 am Irish time (12:00 CET) and will end on 29 March at 11:00 am Irish time (12:00 CET).

To win a travel pass, young people are invited to apply on the European Youth Portal, answer 5 quiz and one tiebreaker questions. Successful applicants born between 1 July 2004 and 30 June 2005 will be able to travel in Europe for up to 30 days during the travel period 15 June 2023 and 30 September 2024.

The call is open to applicants from the European Union and the third countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme, such as Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Türkiye.

We are glad to announce the launch of the 8th application round of DiscoverEU. As years pass by, the DiscoverEU community rallies more and more young people. After this application round, we will have reached over one million applicants. This is quite an impressive number in less than 5 years of implementation. It shows the appetite of young Europeans to bond and explore our wonderful cultural heritage. And there is more. We are making DiscoverEU more and more inclusive. The DiscoverEU Inclusion Action, launched by the Erasmus+ National Agencies, will allow young people with fewer opportunities to take part in DiscoverEU on equal footing with their peers.
