Commission launches a Global Alliance to Counter Migrant Smuggling and proposes a strengthened EU legal framework
The European Commission has proposed new legislation to prevent and fight migrant smuggling. The Commission has also launched a Call to Action for a Global Alliance to Counter Migrant Smuggling, at the International Conference hosted in Brussels on 28 November.
The European Commission has positively assessed Ireland's revised recovery and resilience plan. The plan now is worth €914 million in RRF (Recovery and Resilience Facility) grants.
How to address this skills gap in Ireland was at the centre of a ‘Skills for Jobs’ seminar and panel discussion organised by the Commission Representation in Ireland and Eurofound, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, which took place at Europe House today.
