Description
This workshop will take place through Irish and will focus on fifth year students in secondary schools.
Translators from the European Commission will participate in the event to explain their work and to speak about the skills necessary to become a translator in the EU institutions. Lecturers from both universities will provide an outline of the relevant courses they have available. The students will then have an opportunity to try translation for themselves (from English to Irish) by working on some simple texts with the translators.
