Description
Do you want to know more about what an interpreter does? Are you interested in working in a multilingual and multicultural environment? Do you want to know how to become an EU interpreter?
This joint online event organised by the EU institutions and the Irish Government will give you the opportunity to hear from staff interpreters and trainees working for the EU institutions about their career paths and what their jobs entail.
The event will be chaired by the Department of Foreign Affairs and is supported by the Government’s A Career for EU strategy.
The programme for the event is available here.
A Career for EU is a strategy launched in May 2021 that aims to increase Irish representation in the EU’s institutions by promoting EU careers to Irish graduates and providing practical support for applicants. More information can be found at EUJobs - Department of Foreign Affairs (dfa.ie).
