President von der Leyen on official visit to Ireland

President Ursula von der Leyen will be in Dublin tomorrow.

At midday, the President will be received by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin for a working lunch.

In the afternoon, the President will address the joint houses of the Oireachtas to deliver a speech marking 50 years since the accession of Ireland to the EU.  This can be watched live on Oireachtas TV at 2pm.

Later, she will be received by Michael D. Higgins, the President of Ireland.

In the evening, the President will attend the 48^th Business & Finance Awards, where she will receive the Peter Sutherland Leadership Award on behalf of the European Union.

The President's speeches at the joint session of the Oireachtas and at the Business and Finance Awards will be broadcast live on EbS.
