Together with European Movement Ireland and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland, we are hosting a hybrid event with stakeholders and MEPs looking ahead to the upcoming State of the Union debate in the European Parliament with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday morning 13 September.
This event will provide the opportunity for key Irish stakeholders to have their say on what they would like to hear in this year’s State of the Union address and debate.

Format: The panel of stakeholders will speak for five minutes each, highlighting three issues they want to hear about in the State of the Union debate, which will take place on 13 September in the European Parliament. This will be followed by the MEPs responses to the points raised by the panel and will conclude with a Q&A session from the in-person and online audience.
The event will be in a hybrid format with in person and online attendees.
Please note that due to limited capacity in the venue in person attendance will be constrained but once capacity has been reached attendees will still be able to register to participate online.
