Solvit is an on-line problem solving network in which EU Member States work together to solve problems caused by the misapplication of Internal Market law by public authorities, without legal proceedings.
The European Ombudsman investigates complaints about poor administration by EU institutions or other EU bodies. These may be lodged by citizens or residents of EU countries or by EU-based associations or businesses. The current European Ombudsman is Irish woman Emily O'Reilly.

The EURAXESS Services Centre helps researchers and their family to plan and organise their move to a foreign country, providing help in all matters related to mobility.
Information on consumer rights
The European Consumer Centre Ireland is part of an EU-wide network that advises citizens on their rights as consumers and provides easy access to redress, particularly in cases where the consumer has purchased something in another country to his/her own (cross-border).
The EU Rapid Alert System for non-food dangerous products facilitates the rapid exchange of information between national authorities of 31 countries and the European Commission on dangerous products found on the market.
