Description
The European Commission Representation in Ireland will be back at the National Ploughing Championships from 19 to 21 September 2023.
Visit the EU stand (no. 312) and:
- ask our CAP experts for specialist advice on the EU's veterinary rules and farming issues
- discover what the EU is doing in your region to fund local projects
- try a virtual visit to the European Parliament and get information about the Parliament
- visit the dedicated Together.EU stand where you can take part in a quiz and sign up to get involved in the European elections 2024.
Special guests will include Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, Irish MEPs and advisers from the European Consumer Centre and the European Movement Ireland.
The EPLO will be distributing material about the parliament at the stands but we will also have a dedicated Together.EU stand which will involve a quiz and a sign up opportunity for interested citizens.
As usual, there will be a range of free materials on the European Union and a special kids' corner with competitions and loads of chances to win prizes
