Description

On Tuesday afternoon 21 September, European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni and Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Michael McGrath will address a webinar on "Fostering a Fair Recovery and Building Resilience: The Path Forward for Ireland and the EU".
They will discuss how NextGenerationEU will support a transformation in Irish society and foster a resilient and fair recovery across the EU. The event will be chaired by Dr Frances Ruane, Chairperson of the National Competitiveness and Productivity Council.
NextGenerationEU is the EU’s €750 billion recovery fund, which aims to support a sustainable, equitable recovery across the EU as well as advance the green and digital transitions over the next decade.
This event is jointly organised by the European Commission Representation in Ireland and the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA). It is open to the public and free to attend.
