‘Try a new language’ to mark European Day of Languages

To mark European Day of Languages, on Friday 25 September we will provide virtual taster classes in eight languages -  Danish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Spanish, Chinese and Ukrainian. 

Booking will open here on 18 August – book ahead as spaces are limited. The relevant zoom link will be sent to registered participants before lunchtime on the day of the event.

• Danish, French, Greek and Maltese classes will run at 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm and 7:30pm.

• Finnish, Irish, Italian and Ukrainian classes will run at 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm and 8:30pm.

   

In addition, as part of Culture Night on Friday, 18 September, we will provide free 20-minute taster classes 'in person' at Europe House in Dublin in Croatian, Dutch, Finnish, French, Irish, Irish Sign Language, Polish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Japanese.  As spaces are limited, we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment. 

You are of course encouraged to try more than one language and refreshments will be provided on the night for anybody wanting to take a break between sessions.
