‘Try a new language’ on the European Day of Languages

The European Commission and Languages Connect invite you to 'Try a new language' on Thursday, 26 September.

To coincide with the European Day of Languages on Tuesday, 26 September, we will provide free virtual taster classes in eleven languages - Arabic, Estonian, French, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian.  

Please book your session(s) early to avoid disappointment, as spaces are limited.  The relevant zoom link will be sent to registered participants before lunchtime on the day of the event.

As part of Culture Night on Friday, 20 September, we are also providing free 20-minute taster classes 'in person' at Europe House in Dublin in Chinese, Czech, German, Japanese, Korean, Maltese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish.  Again, spaces are limited and you are therefore encouraged to book your session(s) early to avoid disappointment. For those who want to try more than one language (encouraged!), refreshments will be provided on the night (20 September only) if you want to take a break between sessions.
