The European Commission and Languages Connect invite you to 'Try a new language' on Friday, 20 September.
As part of Culture Night on Friday, 20 September, we will provide free 20-minute taster classes 'in person' at Europe House in Dublin in Chinese, Czech, German, Japanese, Korean, Maltese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish.
You are of course encouraged to try more than one language and refreshments will be provided on the night for anybody wanting to take a break between sessions.
And to coincide with the European Day of Languages on Thursday, 26 September, we will provide virtual taster classes in a further eleven languages - Arabic, Estonian, French, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian.

The ‘Try a new language event’ is also part of the European Culture Trail, which will take place during Culture Night. The Culture Trail has been organised by the EUNIC network of European Union National Institutes of Culture and you can download your ‘passport’ HERE.
