Description
European Commission translators will participate in the event to explain what they do and to give the students an opportunity to try it for themselves.
Three language combinations will be available during the practical part of the event – French to English, German to English and Spanish to English.
University of Limerick lecturers will provide an outline of the relevant courses they have on offer and, together with the translators, they will speak about the skills necessary to work as a translator for the EU institutions and how to obtain those skills.
