European Commission Energy Roadshow event, Athlone

This is the second event of our Energy Roadshow – a series of 4 regional events on themes relating to energy, in the context of RePowerEU.

REPowerEU is the European Commission’s plan to make energy affordable, secure and sustainable.

This event will take the format of a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session with participants.

Speakers at the event include:

• Kieran Mulvey, Just Transition Commissioner
• Dr Isabella Donnelly, Senior energy and environmental engineer at ORS and Coordinator for SEAI Sustainable Energy Communities
• Prof. Vincent Cunnane, President of Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest

The event will be moderated by Tim Hayes, Head of Communications, European Commission Representation in Ireland.
