Competition to recruit English translators in the EU institutions – Information session

Are you interested in working as an English language translator in the European Union institutions?

The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) has launched a competition to recruit English-language translators. The deadline for application is Tuesday, 14 January 2025. 

Join us online on Tuesday 17 December at 6:15pm Irish time (7:15pm CET) for an information session about the competition. Translators at the European Commission, European Parliament and the Council of the European Union will describe their work and career path, and a representative of EPSO, who will explain the competition. 

This event is open to people qualified for and interested in applying to the competition. The competition is open to EU nationals with at least bachelor-level education who have native or equivalent-level English and a C1 level in two other official EU languages. All information on the competition requirements, tests and procedures can be found on the application page.
